SendBeam can email you whenever a form is submitted. If those emails have stopped, or never started, check these in order.
1. Is a notification address set?
Open the form in Forms.
- Signup forms notify you only when Email me about new subscribers is set, with the address to notify.
- Contact forms always need a notification address. That is where the visitor's message is sent.
See Forms.
2. Look where your mail app files them
Notifications come from SendBeam. Their subject starts with the form's notification subject prefix if you set one, or with the form's name. Search your mailbox for it, including Spam and Junk. If your company filters mail, ask for email from sendbeam.io to be allowed.
3. Check the form's log
Each notification is recorded on the form's page. If they are recorded there but not in your mailbox, the problem is between SendBeam and your mail provider: check your filters and rules.
4. Things that stop notifications
- Sending is paused for the workspace. Your dashboard shows a notice, and notifications wait until it is lifted.
- The signup came from an address that bounced or reported spam before. No contact is created for it, so no notification is sent.
